Death of Coral Reefs Hits Human Hard - Urgent Action On Climate Change Needed

Corals reefs are dying around the globe due to warmer and more acidic oceans, harming ocean life but also creating economic disaster and food security risks for fisherman and people whose protein source is largely dependent upon the sea plus undermining tourism. Add to this the depletion of one of the chief barriers to surging seas and great loss of life and property destruction and you have a very high priority problem.

This looming crisis calls for strong measures to decrease carbon pollution which is linked to warming seas, rising seas, acidification of our oceans and stronger storms.

We need to call upon our governments to take action but also everyone can reduce their carbon footprint. Its our kids and grandkids who will hold us accountable if we fail to act to protect future generations.
