Earth Protect Blog

Hello everyone!  My name is Vanessa Pastrana and the organization I work with, Kingsbridge Heights Neigborhood Improvement Association (KHNIA ), hosts an annual cultural festival.  This year the festival will be on July 10th.  We have decided to make the theme about the Protection of the Enviroment.  We of course, see it as a way to teach how to live green in the city.

We are looking for organizations and individuals interested in setting up information tables, dissemination information or providing "green" work shops.  The event will take place from 10 am to 7 PM.  We will have entertainment and rides for children on a small scale.  The funds KHNIA generates will be used to further help our green  educations for our community project.

As a family oriented, low-middle incoming community, we appreciate any help we can get and we do welcome suggestions.  KHNIA is a 501c 3  located at 2805 University Avenue, Bronx, NY 10468.
