Dear Friends,
The historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law signed into law by President Biden last month will make a major investment to upgrade America's electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The plan will invest $7.5 billion nationwide, with a goal of building a nationwide network of 500,000 EV chargers to accelerate the adoption of EVs, reduce emissions, improve air quality, and create good-paying jobs across the country. For Colorado, this law is estimated to provide a $57 million investment to our communities. This week, along with Mayor Brockett, the City of Boulder and Commissioner Levy I toured a recently developed innovative EV charging project at the North Boulder Recreation Center. Colorado has long been a leader on climate action and clean energy, taking tangible steps to advance our communities electric vehicle infrastructure. We're thrilled that funding through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will only enhance and extend Colorado's leadership and ingenuity in green vehicles and climate action! Congressman Joe Neguse |
