I want to share an exciting update about our work with you, carol. 

More than 15 years ago, former US Vice President Al Gore founded The Climate Reality Project to catalyze a global solution to the climate crisis by making urgent action a necessity across every sector of society.  

Today, we are a diverse group of passionate individuals who’ve come together to tackle the greatest challenge of our time. Because we know that time is running out – but we still have a chance if we work together to create a better world for us all.

At Climate Reality, we have a plan to help the world make major progress by 2030 and reach true net-zero by 2050. We are excited to unveil our campaign efforts to halve global emissions this decade, end funding and development of fossil fuel infrastructure destroying our planet, and build a just and healthy tomorrow with clean energy. 

Our 2030 vision focuses on four major campaign areas:
