CELEBS Say "TURN IT OFF! EARTH HOUR THIS SATURDAY

Since the first Earth Hour in 2007, supporters have included: The Most Reverend Archbishop Desmond Tutu, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon, actress Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman, Kylie Minogue, Yoko Ono, Ashton Kutcher, Brazilian supermodel Giselle Bundchen, TV host and landscaper Jamie Durie, Kevin Bacon, TV personality Amanda Holden, singer Alexandra Burke, celebrity chefs Bill Granger and Tom Aiken, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and actor Edward Norton.

“Earth Hour is a great time for celebrities and high profile individuals to use their considerable reach and influence to spotlight the issues that are facing our planet. This year more than ever we are asking these celebrities to not only encourage their fans and supporters to participate in lights off, moreover we’re asking them to commit to an action to take Earth Hour beyond the hour”, said Andy Ridley, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Earth Hour.
