Today, the world looks very different than it did fifty-one years ago, but the mission of Earth Day remains the same and more urgent than ever: we need to demand widespread action to protect our planet.

We can’t slow down our efforts now, carol. We must keep up the pressure and insist that our leaders aggressively fight the climate crisis. Now. While we still have the chance to turn things around.
