(February 6, 2013) Denver, CO— Earth Protect Moves People “From Image to Action” telling stories of people and companies protecting the Earth through its video focused web site and its full service video production and sustainability services division, Earth Protect Productions.
The BIOCOM Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves as a bridge between learning institutions and life science companies to build comprehensive education initiatives that advance science literacy. The Institute is a key partner in the EDGE (Educating and Developing Workers for the Green Economy) Initiative that received a State of California Green Innovation Challenge grant in 2010. These grants helped to meet current employment needs in the green economy, while also getting currently unemployed and underemployed people back to work in an innovative field with tremendous potential.
An integrated approach is vital for our nation's green economy and calls for innovative collaborations. Earth Protect and the BIOCOM Institute are teaming up to produce a documentary about one of the most important issues of our time; the race to replace oil. Together, private and public partners are tapping into the true pioneering spirit of our forefathers to create sustainable, safer, and cleaner forms of energy and biobased products now and for future generations. This is an uplifting story about the rapidly emerging biorenewables sector which has the potential to solve such major issues as: the economy, environment, unemployment, and national security.
