Interesting to hear the rhetoric from across the Atlantic on the oil spill. a) the fact that BP is not providing dividends is hurting old age pensioners b) it wasn't BPs fault -- it was the contractor.

My thought: BP is the one who had the lease on the site. Whatever happens at that site is their responsibility. If BP managed their business better, they would not be in the position they are -- cutting dividends to old people. And finally "WHERE WAS OUR GOVERNMENT?" Shouldn't they be regulating this industry? BIG LET DOWN from BP and the US regulating authority.
