A couple of years ago, there were rumblings at exactly 7: 30 a.m. every morning At the same time, we were told that the ocean floor was being banged on right where there is a marine reserve for whales.
Not much later, dead whales washed up on the beach in Washington state. The U.S. air force said those rumblings were jets taking off in the morning.
The rumblings have been being heard again. This time, the Times Colonist showed a photo of a building that fell down because of them.
Since I am anti-war anyway, I find it upsetting to know that the navy is using the last of the whales for testing weapons that will later be used to kill people.
The Dalai Lama said the world is now too small for all of us to not find a way to get along. Wouldn't our taxpayer money be better spent on food for hungry children here and in other countries?
